Abbie's Blend is a blend of two coffees with a light body and above-average acidity. The acidity pops at the front with notes red currant. The middle of the cup is sweet with cinnamon notes, which meld into the long, sweet chocolate finish.

Story:  Anyone who personally knows the McLaughlin family knows that they love cats. Shaun has one cat, Mark has two, and Mike and Barbara have one. This feline infatuation all began back in 2006 when Shaun rescued his first cat. After developing a fondness for his cat, Abbie, he wanted to develop a new blend named after her. With the majority of our most popular blends being dark roasts, in 2010, Shaun decided there was a need for a new, medium-roasted blend with lots of complexity. Shaun took two of our highest quality single-origin coffees and created a blend that has become a favorite among our loyal customer base. On their own, these are two of Shaun’s favorite coffees, so it was only natural to create the blend using these two coffees.

For every 12 oz. bag of Abbie’s Blend you purchase, we donate $1.00 to the Tri-Valley Animal Rescue Foundation, the organization from which Shaun rescued his cat, Abbie, back in 2006. For every 5-pound bag purchased, we donate $5.00 to the organization.
