Peaberry coffee is a bit of a novelty in the coffee world. The peaberry name comes from the shape of these unique beans. Typically, a coffee cherry grows two "normal" coffee beans inside (also known as flatbeans). A peaberry bean results from a mutation that happens inside the cherry where a single bean grows inside the cherry. This results in a smaller oval shaped bean that looks like a tiny football. This mutation is somewhat common, and the average coffee tree produces a small number of peaberry cherries each year.

Happy holidays everyone! Knowing you can get your coffee is important, so we want to make sure you know our hours for the holiday season. Our offices will be closed on Monday December 25 and Monday Jan 1. We will also be closing early at noon on Friday Dec 22 and Friday Dec 29. 

The following are some pointers to help out:

For local customers: We will be closing early on Friday Dec 22 & Dec 29. Please place all orders no later than Thursday Dec 21 & Dec 28 and plan to pick up all orders before noon on those Fridays....

We will be closed for the Thanksgiving 4-day holiday weekend so please plan accordingly when placing your orders. The following are some pointers to help out:

For local customers: We will be closing early on Wednesday Nov 22. Please place all orders no later than Tuesday Nov 21 and plan to pick up all orders by 11AM on Wednesday.

For delivery customers: We will send you a notice with your modified delivery schedule for Thanksgiving week.

For online customers: Any orders placed after 8AM on Wednesday Nov 22 will be shipped out on Monday Nov 27. Please place your orders early!

For Black Friday...

Our offices will be closed on Monday September 4 in observance of Labor Day. Here are the details so you can make sure you get your coffee:

For local customers: We will be closing early on Friday September 1. Please place all orders before 8AM on Friday September 1, and plan to pick up all orders before 2PM.

For online customers: Any orders placed after 8AM on Friday September 1 will be shipped out on Tuesday September 5.
