We've been gearing up for dealing with shipping delays, container shortages, and port congestion since the beginning of the year. The pandemic has caught up to the shipping market and the shortage of containers is causing delays in the shipment of coffee from the source countries. You likely saw the Evergreen container ship that was stuck in the Suez Canal. This situation only made things worse and brought the issues with the global shipping to the mainstream media.

Happy holidays everyone! Knowing you can get your coffee is important, so we want to make sure you know what guidance we have received from our shipping partners as we approach the holiday shipping crunch. 

To receive your packages before Christmas the package must be shipped by the following dates:

• Fedex SmartPost: Dec 9
• Fedex Home Delivery: Dec 15
• Fedex Ground: Dec 15
• Fedex 2 Day Envelope/Box: Dec 22
• USPS Flat Rate Box: Dec 19

Generally, it looks like FedEx and USPS are mostly on time, but there is likely to be a lot of volume flowing through all shipping companies...

We will be closed for the Thanksgiving 4-day holiday weekend so please plan accordingly when placing your orders. The following are some pointers to help out:

For local customers: We will be closing early on Wednesday Nov 25. Please place all orders no later than Tuesday Nov 24 and plan to pick up all orders by 11AM on Wednesday.
